Welcome to Bravo Theater Summer Camp
Bravo Theater's Performing Arts Summer Camp 2026 is a week-long, full-day program for children ages 5–17 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois — just minutes from Wheeling, Arlington Heights, Palatine, and the greater Chicago suburbs. Whether your child is stepping on stage for the first time or is a seasoned performer, our small-group sessions build real skills in a nurturing, professional environment.
Camp runs June 29 – July 31, 2026, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, at our facility at 145 W Dundee Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089.
What Kids Learn
Every day at camp combines focused workshops across three performing arts disciplines:
- Acting & Drama — scene study, character development, improvisation, stage presence, and audition technique
- Dance & Choreography — ballet basics, contemporary movement, and production choreography tailored to age and experience
- Vocal Performance — singing fundamentals, breath control, ensemble harmony, and solo performance preparation
The week culminates in a showcase performance for family and friends — giving every camper a real stage experience with costumes, lights, and an audience.
Weekly Schedule Overview
- 8:00 – 8:30 AM — Drop-off, warm-ups, and ensemble games
- 8:30 – 10:00 AM — Acting workshop
- 10:00 – 11:30 AM — Dance and choreography
- 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM — Lunch break
- 12:00 – 1:30 PM — Vocal and music workshop
- 1:30 – 3:30 PM — Full cast rehearsal
- 3:30 – 5:00 PM — Tech, costumes, and extended care
Age Groups and Tracks
We offer two age-appropriate tracks so every camper is challenged at the right level:
- Junior Performers (Ages 5–10) — playful introduction to stage skills, movement, and vocal expression through games and short scenes
- Advanced Performers (Ages 11–17) — intensive rehearsal process, character deep-dives, and full production numbers
Groups are kept small — 8 to 12 campers per group — so every child gets individual attention from our professional instructors.

Camp is open to children ages 5 through 17. We separate into Junior (5–10) and Advanced (11–17) tracks so every camper works at an appropriate level.
